Make sure that the organic cotton wick of the Aspire K2 coil is well-saturated before vaping it for the first time.
Aspire K2 Clearomizer Tank Specifications:
On top of the device is a removable plastic drip tip with O-ring seal to hold it in place and prevent leaks. You can replace it with any 510-style mouthpiece from your collection.
The main tank houses the central chimney and juice reservoir, enclosed in Pyrex glass. It can store up to 1.8ml of e-juice which should last around two days of average use. Since the glass exterior is part of the tank and cannot be disassembled, it can be quite challenging to wash and clean.
Compared to other tanks, the Aspire K2 has less metal hardware and more clear glass which gives you a more accurate estimation of how much liquid is left in the chamber. The longer Pyrex tube also gives the K2 tank a slimmer and more elegant profile.
Because the K2 tank is slim, it can be difficult to refill without creating any mess. There is little space between the chimney and the glass so you might want to use a syringe instead of a dropper when filling the tank.
Installed at the base of the K2 tank is a 1.6Ω atomizer which turns the e-liquid into vapor when you take a puff. This atomizer head uses Aspire's proprietary bottom vertical coil (BVC) technology.
Aspire BVC configurations are wrapped with organic cotton wicks for premium flavors. Around the atomizer are four huge holes that draw the juice into the wicks and keep them well saturated. The top of the coil has a silicone stopper that works as spit-back protection while the bottom is threaded so you can easily replace it.
Around the base of the tank features four fixed air holes. Although you cannot adjust the size of the holes (like in higher end tanks), the draw is perfect for first-time vapers who are used to the sensation of pulling from a combustible cigarette.
Under the tank is a 510 contact pin with clean threads that fit flush into the Aspire K2 battery.
The Aspire K2 tank is available in black and silver colors.
Aspire K2 Clearomizer Tank Features:
The Aspire K2 is an eGo-style battery-and-tank system that is reusable, rechargeable and refillable. The Aspire K2 quick starter kit is designed for vaping out of the box. It comes with an 800mAh rechargeable battery paired with the modern Aspire K2 clearomizer tank.
The complete Aspire K2 quick starter kit includes a micro USB charging cable and a replacement 1.6Ω atomizer head. All you need is a bottle of e-liquid and you're good to go!
You can choose from two colorways: black battery with black tank and pink battery with silver tank.
Most smokers start with a closed vaping system – often called "cigalikes" because they look and work like traditional cigarettes. Closed systems are cheap, disposable and readily available. Those who want to try electronic cigarettes for the first time often use cigalikes as their first step to vaping. You can easily pick up a starter pack from the convenience store, charge the battery, screw in the cartridge, and vape away. When the vapor starts to thin or the flavor changes, simply replace the old cartridge with a new one.
Closed systems, however, offer very limited choices. There are around 5-10 flavor varieties in four to five nicotine strengths. With open systems, you'll be able to choose from thousands of flavors – and even create your own – with nicotine content ranging from as high as 36mg all the way down to zero.
Closed vaping systems are also expensive because the cartomizers cannot be refilled. Each cartridge lasts around one to two days. After that you have to throw them away.
While disposables offer ease of use, it is much cheaper to buy e-liquids than brand new cartridges.
Open vaping systems are versatile so you have the freedom to experiment. Mix different flavors, swap out coils, try different batteries – the customization options are endless.
Aspire K starter kits are designed with the first-time vaper in mind. They allow you to enjoy all the benefits of an open vaping system while maintaining a similar cigalike experience.
Warning: Exercise extreme caution when working with Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable cells as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Always charge batteries on a fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. Do not use any rechargeable battery as well as any battery charger if any visible damage is present, as well as if the cell or charger has been stressed through mishandling, accidental or otherwise, even if damage may not be visible. Always store and transport rechargeable cells in a safe, non-conductive container in a controlled environment. Dispose of all battery cells and chargers in accordance to local laws and mandates.
